Abstract
'This chapter summarizes the various environmental and cultural themes developed in the preceding chapters. The behavioral and environmental models are reviewed, and various behaviors are predicted for broad classes of environmental and demographic conditions. These predictions are then tested against the data.' (page 230). Plog et al. examine colonization, mobility, abandonment, interaction, agricultural intensification, and territoriality.
