Abstract
Scarborough reports on excavations designed to investigate the canal system at Cerros. Five trenches were dug at regular intervals across the main canal. Additional excavations investigated raised field, reservoir, and raised causeway features. Construction involved both cutting into bedrock and building up retaining walls, which would have involved a large-scale workforce.
