Abstract
Kintz examines household compounds in Zone I at Coba. The distances between household units was determined. She found these household units formed 35 clusters, mostly made up of commoner and elite households. These clusters may demarcate ancient neighborhood and ward forms of organizations. A table of these clusters with the number of households per cluster arrives at an estimated population size for each cluster.
