Abstract
Folan summarizes the findings of document numbers 17-29 and presents the periods of cultural development of Cobá from its start as a probable small farming village to its rise to an urban center and its collapse back into a farming village. Folan spends most of this last chapter presenting the hypotheses that still need to be tested.
