Lamani, Belize: an updated view

Abstract
This study is an update of the archaeological work done by Stanley Loten in 1979 on the Preclassic site of Lamanai in Belize. Pendergast believes that this initial work 'lacked several critical pieces' of information which the author has attempted to supplement from his own subsequent excavations at the site with the view of broadening the principal areas of knowledge of the Postclassic in the region. Much of the data presented here refer to the analysis of the structural and ceramic remains found at Lamanai.
