Abstract
The major focus of this study is on the archaeological site known as Capá in the barrio of Caguana, municipality of Utuado, district of Arecibo, Puerto Rico which the author visited in 1914-1915. Mason describes in great detail the courts or plazas found at the site and various other associated structures. A secondary focus of this work is on other Puerto Rican sites visited during the author's field work in the region of Utuado, including the village of Loíza, the region of Coamo, and the southwestern corner of the island.
