Abstract
Ravines describes the results of an archaeological salvage project in the middle Jequetepeque Valley prior to the construction of the Gallito Ciego dam; mostly survey and mapping with some excavation. Fifty-two early sites were identified. Six categories of monumental architecture occur at different sites and some description is provided for the ceramics and domestic architecture found surrounding these complexes.
