Abstract
The author describes the site of Cahuachi, previous excavations, and her excavation of the Room of the Posts, built in the latter half of the site’s apogee during during Nazca phases 3-4, and with continued ceremonial to the end of the tradition proper in Nazca 8. In addition to the nine wooden posts in its center, there were remains of plaster and paint on the walls, and numerous offerings buried in the floor, such as ceramics and trophy heads.
