Abstract
The author examines data from Clovis sites in the eastern United States and Canada, including raw material sources (Knife River Flint, Hixton Silicified Sandstone, Wyandotte chert, and Flint Ridge and Upper Mercer cherts), in an exploration of artifact transportation over time. The diagnostic style of lithic tool manufacture is discussed.
