Abstract
The authors analyzed 140 fluted points and raw material sources for the points from 19 counties in central and northern Indiana in an effort to understand which lithic materials were favored and what landforms were chosen for site locations. These fluted points representing 130 Early Paleo-Indian site locations are from private collections and field surveys. Comparisons are made to results from other studies in southern Indiana and throughout the Northeast.
