Report on Site E-82-3: an early Late Paleolithic site in the Kubbaniya dune field

prehistory of wadi kubbaniya, : late paleolithic archaeology ; assembled by fred wendorf and romuald schild3 • Published In 1989 • Pages: 336-348

By: Banks, Kimball M..

Abstract
This is the third site investigated by Banks near Wadi Kubbaniya. (See eHRAF nos. 8-9 for the other two.) This site differs from the others in its choice of raw material for tools, its lack of Levallois technology and burins, and the lower proportion of fish in the faunal remains. Banks speculates that E-82-3 could be a short-term hunting location.
