Abstract
Spencer discusses the paleolithic, neolithic, and predynastic cultures for Upper and Lower Egypt. For the predynastic period of Upper Egypt, the Badarian and Naqada cultures are described along with the objects found in the graves such as ceramics, lithic and bone artifacts, art and religious objects, and mace heads.
