Abstract
In the summer of 1974 the author mapped Paxte and Cante Islands of the Topoxte Island group located on the south side of Lake Yaxha in northeastern Petén, Guatemala. These maps served as the data base for the statistical analysis of structural alignment and distribution on the two islands mentioned above which form the major content of this document. These data are then compared to other Postclassic Maya sites (e.g., Mayapan).
