Pazyryk chronology and early horse nomads reconsidered

Bulletin of the Asia Institute, n. s.6 • Published In 1992 • Pages: 117-129

By: Hiebert, Fredrik T..

Abstract
Heibert summarizes Pazyryk culture and re-examines the Pazyryk kurgans, giving them dates that range from the 5th century B.C. to the 3rd century B.C. Heibert points out that the Chinese finds in the tombs are rare and do not indicate increasing trade between China and the west.
