Abstract
Bokovenko discusses Early Nomad culture in the Altai Mountains. The area is divided into the following time stages: the Early Stage, the Pazyryk Stage, and the Scythian Period. He discusses mortuary data and artifacts and points out the differences between the time periods. Discussed are changes in grave construction and mortuary artifacts such as horse tack, armaments, mirrors, ornaments, clothing, vessels, and OLENNIYE KAMNI (deer stones) and other art work.
